We had a weekend full of great fun! The boys dressed up in their chosen costumes for the "main event" aka Halloween night. I say the main event because since Jackson decided on Batman and Preston decided on Elmo, they have been so excited about wearing their costumes until they have been playing in them almost on a daily basis. Batman enjoyed flexing his muscles and Elmo loved to run wide open without being touched. They feel very passionate about these newly found identities!
We went to the Prestonwood Fall Festival and let the boys ride the train, play some games, etc. before coming back to our neighborhood to "trick or treat" a few of our friendly neighbors. The boys now have enough sugar to last us a year....especially since candy is a treat and not an every day event at our house! However, I must remember to allow them to enjoy their childhood and not be too stringent on their "snacktime"....that's why we own toothbrushes:)!!

- I grew up on a farm in LaCamp, which is a small little country town in central Louisiana. The aspects of the country I miss the most is being able to see the stars without the "taint" of the city lights, wide open spaces, and old familiar faces. But most of all, I miss family. Jason and I have two amazing little boys who are so happy and full of life! We have made some wonderful friends while living in Texas and are happy to call this our home. Although our country roots will always keep us "grounded", we enjoy living in Lewisville where there are so many opportunities for our family of four.
